150 Years of the Centennial State.

On August 1, 1876, Colorado became the 38th state — earning the name The Centennial State because it joined the Union 100 years after the Declaration of Independence. On August 1, 2026, we mark 150 years of that proud statehood with the sky itself as our stage.

Pilots from airports across Colorado will take flight simultaneously, creating coordinated formations visible from communities throughout the state. This is not just an airshow. It is a living tribute — written across the Colorado sky.
